Before she had a..uh.. -_- Block..ish head? And stubby little misformed rectanglish legs, with half triangles as hooves lol!

What brush/tool/setting do you use for your 'clean' sketch? I always find that if I use a simple paintbrush my lines are horrendously wobbly & heavy, even when I'm trying to be so careful. How do achieve such a soft, feathery stroke?

asme brush and settings used all the way through, only size of brush change
