Breed info:
This is a restricted colorbreed.
You can not create your own Muertos at this point.

Each Muertos is created as an individual design on a brand new sketch. There is no breed lineart etc. So each horse is unique in every matter.

The Muertos foundations were in the harlequine breed, much like the Hallowequine is, but now is a recognizable breed in it's own right.

The Muertos is basicly a color defination more than an actual breed, since the coloration is allowed on any equine body type. However we do most commonly see the Muertos coloration in arabian build horses - what is known as the Palfrey type in Harlequines. We do not have any liniage information to track the base of the color though.

Colors/coat designs
The origin of the breed is the Harlequines, which means red, black and white are common colors. There are however no restriction on specific colors, as long as the pattern is typical Muertos. (Pattern base: google "El Día de los Muertos" - Mexican day of the dead).

Breeding:
The Appaloosa de los Muertos is breedable, but do not pass on the coloration or patterns to unpure foals. Meaning:
Muertos x Muertos = Muertos foal
Muertos x fantasy breed = fantasy breed foal, no Muertos
Muertos x regular breed = regular foal, no Muertos

Inbreeding is NOT allowed.
Meaning a single horse can not be seen more than once anywhere in the liniage.

To breed, you must have permission to use both stallion and mare + create 1 breedpic with headshots as minimum. Breedpic is also required if you own both parents.

How to get a Muertos
Only DaneArt and a few friends with special permission can create a starter Muertos. All designs must be approved by DaneArt. All created horses are starters without liniage.

To obtain one, simple keep an eye on my profile, as I will do adoptables from time to time.

Registration, activity etc:
There is no restrictions on activity. Once the horse is drawn, you own it and can use it as you please.

The reference you draw will be used to update my registration list.

If you create a foal, you must draw a ref for the offspring and send me a link, so I can put it on the list of active horses. (Only pure foals must be registered!)
