Birth of ZeusLate Summer, Year 748 of the New Age.
Silverthorne, Close to herd’s resting place at Silver Vale.

It was late summer. Strong winds swept over the Silver Vale and made rain and loose leaves hiss around the ears of the Silverthorne herd, as if autumn was already over them. In the distant thunder rumbled, followed by the occasional lightning painting white streaks on the sky.

Two does had pulled away from the pack and found shelter behind a small island of shrubs and trees. The oldest of them had a tiny fawn by her side, barely a few weeks old. The younger one was about to give birth. Sweat colored her chestnut coat darker than usual, as

A Taste of Britain - pure Obertaurer filly out of Bristol X Jagoda. Cremello Roan is totally killing me *lol*
Gonna use her as a bit of a showgirl, which is the reason for the her being decorated and all ^^

Hope I'll get to finish her tomorrow, then present her owner and rider.

The lighter coloured horses are a bit intimidating to colour, have to be so subtle and careful with the shades you use. This is a beautiful piece so far though, expertly handled, looking forward to the finished piece. Such a pretty, feminine looking filly :)

Love her name, great nod to Bristol :D
